During the pandemic, our country witnessed pain and tragedy. Police brutality and racial inequities have plagued this country since it was founded. Although there have been strides to find equal footing amongst each other, these issues keep persisting without the notion of taking accountability, especially for Black Americans who are treated unfairly. To be able to walk on the street without fear of being stopped by a police officer is a privilege that Black Americans don't have.
